Local manganese miners which have ‘clean and clear’ license from Ministry of Energy in East Nusa Tenggara reached 29 licenses. The number should be bigger as if the unlisted ones included. We have talked about PT Soe Makmur Resources’ license previously, so the following article would present the other 28 licenses.

Manganese spreads across Africa, China, Georgia, and several Russian fraction countries. It is widely used for battery, steels, aluminium alloys, etc. BHP has several mines in Australia, There is Ghana Manganese Ltd in Ghana, Manganese Metal Company based in South Africa, and US has American Manganese Inc. Meanwhile, Indonesia has East Nusa Tenggara as the manganese main source.

Tin export has been halted due to falling prices on London Metal's Exchange. Bear in mind all metals prices has fell significantly in this week following weaker Dollar on debt issues.  Well, looking on its trend, I believe the price will go back to normal in mid of this month or at least in the end of October.
